אני נאוה גל, מתגוררת ויוצרת במושב ניר ח"ן שבנגב המערבי, בסטודיו הפונה אל שדות ירוקים ונוף פתוח. הצבע הוא נקודת ההתחלה שלי - ממנו נולדים הקו, הצורה והתנועה בציוריי. אני עובדת דרך תהליך של פירוק ובנייה, שבו כתמי צבע מצטברים ומשתנים עד שמתגלים מתוכם זיכרון, תחושה או דימוי. עבורי הציור הוא מרחב של התמסרות, מקום שבו אני נותנת לאינטואיציה ולרגש להוביל, ומשאירה גם לצופה מקום למצוא בו את הסיפור האישי שלו

I am Nava Gal, living and working in Moshav Nir Chen in the western Negev, in a studio that faces open fields and an open landscape.

Color is my starting point — from it emerge the line, form, and movement in my paintings.

I work through a process of deconstruction and construction, in which color patches accumulate and shift until a memory, a feeling, or an image reveals itself.

For me, painting is a space of surrender — a place where I allow intuition and emotion to lead, while leaving room for the viewer to find their own personal story within it.
